GENERAL RENTAL INFORMATIONS ( Rental Agreement )

The weekly rate or higher are valid only with prepayment.

Rental periods are based on periods of 24 hours, which start at time of pick up. After that it will be charged 1/5 of the daily rate till the limit of 5 hours, after that it will be charged a full daily rate.

When you rent a car with LOCABARRA you are responsible for returning that car in the same conditions it was in at the start of the rental, with full tank of gas and clean. If not returned in the same conditions the renter will be charged according to our rate list LOCABARRA (Anexo I).

Our delivery service are valid only within the Rio de Janeiro city.

If you rent a car with LOCABARRA for five days or more our delivery service is a courtesy for our clients.

Rates shown with financial responsibility of 10% of the total value of a 0KM car similar to the rented vehicle, according to the list of FIPE. Option without finacial responsibility for rentals of 7 days or more, it is mandatory to present the Police Report ( It will be checked).

We accept and we can make in up to 10 payments without interests, in the credit cards, VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX emitted in Brazil.

Rates may vary without previous notice.

Our prices already include: RCF (Facultative Civil Responsibility), covering against third, of until R$ 30.000,00 for material damages and until R$ 100.000,00 for corporal damages. P.S. After co-participation of tere renter in until R$ 500,00 in case of any accident.

We do not charge extra taxes.

To rent a car with LOCABARRA it is mandatory: Credit card, Driverss License (valid) ID, CPF, Address Certificated ( for residents in Brazil ) or Passport, Drivers License and credit card ( for foreigners ).

Resevations: you have up to 72 hours to have your reservation cancelled after placed. You can cancel it by fax, e-mail or calling our office. In case of (NO SHOW) one daily rate will be charged.
